Here is what coaches are saying about MAPP

Dear Ward -

First, I wanted to say how much I have loved offering the MAPP assessment in my coaching practice. Every client has been thrilled with the results and empowered by the information. I've, also, been telling this to Karen Whitworth, periodically, as we've met in classes or practicums together.

At this point, I didn't know if any other coaches approached you, but I would like to be included on a list of MAPP coaches for referral, if you have one. I'm finding myself using your assessment with high school, home schooled and college age students. Searching for college majors or finding a career path.

There is a huge niche market in this area, especially since the high schools and colleges either don't or can't spend this kind of one-on-one time to really research and consult at this level. Thanks again for your time and effort toward the MAPP - the simplicity of the assessment truly belies its complexity.

"The MAPP helped me understand how my child relates to school, work chores and extra curricular activities."
"The MAPP helped me see what my child sees as important to their lives."
"The MAPP helped me understand how they would respond to peer pressure. Because my kids are more task oriented they are not as influenced by others."
"Knowing my child’s learning style gave me insight into helping with homework and trying to teach, and communicate things as a parent."

Dr. Linda Bauer, Ed.D.

"The MAPP test really helped me realize my potential in fields I would not have otherwise considered.
The evaluation was accurate and insightful highlighting both my strengths and weaknesses. I now know where I should concentrate my energy to gain fulfillment in the workplace."

“The MAPP is a great assessment, because it really makes you think.”

"The MAPP assessment was incredible!! It was almost eerie how accurate it was.
The MAPP highlighted my areas of strength, some of which I have never really been able to put a label on. My wife and my parents read my assessment and marveled at how bang on it was, my wife remarked that after reading it she felt like she understood me even better! I would recommend the MAPP assessment for anyone looking to uncover their strengths, values, and potential areas to focus on for a fulfilling and meaningful life!"

Do you want to reach your greatest career and personal potential?
Many clients come to me looking for guidance in the area of their career or vocation. I am now able to offer a fantastic opportunity where you can take an online MAPPT (Motivational Appraisal of Personal Potential) assessment which will provide insight into your own traits and can be used to guide you into vocations and careers which best fit your own motivational profile.
Once you have completed your MAPP assessment you will receive a 30 page report that will reveal your true motivations, your top vocational areas, learning styles and your work preferences. We will then work together going through this report and identify ways to best move you forward to making the most of your potential and motivations.
I have personally taken the MAPP assessment and was amazed at the accuracy and detail of the information given, I believe it to be one of the most powerful profiles on the market.

"I have been using the MAPP with clients for over a year and have been incredibly pleased with it. It's great at pointing out career options for people. For example, I was working with an individual who was unhappy and unfulfilled in his current career as an Insurance Sales Manager. The MAPP listed "Investigation, Testing and Engineering" as the top vocational areas with the greatest potential for success. It turned out that this individual loved to take apart, fix and improve the function of mechnical gadgets. Suddenly he realized a new career path was possible doing work he loved! "

“I am an IAC coach. I took my complimentary MAPP assessment today. I loved it! The assessment confirmed things I already suspected and had many wonderful surprises about my personality as well.
My clients are going to love this assessment as much as I do. May I have permission to share quotes from my profile and/or quotes from your website in order to explain what they will be getting with this wonderful tool?
Your new enthusiastic supporter, “

Meg Meyer, Coach, IAC

"MAPP is an integral part of my coaching practice, to the point where I can't imagine not using it. It accelerates the client's understanding of what makes him or her tick. After reviewing their MAPP they know why they do and don't do certain things. The reasons for past problems with jobs become clear. It also helps clients see where their greatest strengths are, so they can build on them, and what their blind spots are so they can deal with those, too. The information in MAPP jumpstarts the coaching process and allows my clients to take action with confidence.”

"I was working with a university student in her junior year who had decided she was in the wrong degree program as a Theater major. The MAPP acknowledged her aptitudes and interests in the arts but ALSO pointed out her talents in business, training, and consulting. A perfect way to encompass her love of the theater with business was to switch to an Arts Management major (which she did). Currently, she works as a Special Events Coordinator and plans to do community theather for fun rather than as an occupation. I think the MAPP truly changed her life's direction."

“As an independent management consultant, I have used the MAPP in many contexts. All of them were successful and many businesses and individuals have benefitted from the application of this motivational and interest survey instrument.”
“The most amazing part of MAPP is that invariably, the person taking the assessment totally validates most every finding generated by the instrument. It is so fulfilling in MAPP consultations to watch as “the lights go on” for someone. They find that they are validated in such a powerfull fashion, without assigning canned “labels” for the person’s characteristics. In fact, the MAPP does quite the opposite: It explores a person’s individual gifts and interests in such a way, that they truly discover they are unique. And further, that their unique set of motivations is what will enable them to act effectively in particular vocational settings and positions.”

Alan J Matchinsky, IAC, Coach and Mentor, Apple Valley, MN

"As a career coach, I utilize the MAPP with most of my clients and find the results always illuminating as it presents numerous options for occupational success."

Dee Relyea Madison WI B.S., M.Ed. NCDA, ASTD, SHRM, APT, MAPT, IAC, CoachVille, www.careerlifecoaching.com

“MAPP is a great third-party influence in my coaching practice. It allows the client and I to quickly identify areas where real progress can be made. It also gives us a common vocabulary to use as we discuss motivations and talents.”
“I've found MAPP to be reliable and accurate. As such, it lends credibility to my practice. Buying MAPP at a discount, and billing it at its retail value has improved the bottom line of my practice.”

Bill Paxton, President, Paxton Consulting Inc. Burnsville, MN www.paxtonconsulting.com

"MAPP has caused me to change the way I coach. I have already signed up two new clients by using the MAPP to help analyze their motivations in life."

Dee Relyea Madison, WI B.S., M.Ed. NCDA, ASTD, SHRM, APT, MAPT, ICF, CoachVille, www.careerlifecoaching.com

“Incorporating the MAPP interest survey into the hiring process provided us with a means to evaluate the interests of the best candidate(s) in a systematic process, which saves time and reduces recruitment costs.”
“A huge bonus of implementing and using the MAPP survey is that it provides prospective employees with the awareness that this company is interested in and cares about the career interests of its employees.”
“We have used the MAPP Work Interest Survey as a tool in our company and I am pleased with the positive results. I highly recommend incorporating this tool in any organization where there is a desire to optimize human resource effectiveness in alignment with corporate strategy.”

Sheryl A. Rapheal, Vice President Human Resources, Medical Graphics Corp. www.medgraph.com

“99% of my “career” clients say the MAPP was ‘surprisingly accurate’ in describing them and their motivations for work. Professionally speaking, the assessment is a terrific tool that my clients and I use during the self-discovery phase of our work. It helps me get to know them more quickly and accelerates the coaching process.”
“My assessment seems to be remarkably consistent with other assessments and psychological tools I’ve taken in the past”
“I knew there was more to life & work, but I needed help deciding what direction to go - -what direction to take with my career. The MAPP and working with Mickey Parsons helped me do that. I’m feeling great and more confident.”

What are you going to be when you grow up? Last month I told you about the MAPP, an amazing new career assessment I've discovered. I told you I was going to have my 16-year-old son, Robbie, take it as a test for using it with teens. Well, Robbie was pretty skeptical about the whole idea. However, when I interrupted him in the middle of a computer game and got him to take the assessment, he became a believer. He said, "Mom, that was the coolest test I ever took". He loved knowing that he had all the skills and talents he needed to become an engineer. He learned how he deals with people, machines, data, tasks, supervision, and leadership. He liked knowing which tests he performs the best on and which learning style will help him learn successfully. He had to laugh when he read that he likes to figure things out on his own instead of reading detailed instructions. Too true! One of the best benefits of this assessments for teens is that it helps them choose a career path or college degree that matches their talents. Robbie liked looking at all the different careers that matched his skill set. I felt relieved that I was not planning to spend the money on a college program that he was not suited for and may not finish.

"I was extraordinarily impressed with your MAPP program that profiled my personality. While I have taken personality profiles before, this one even
picked out aspects of my personal life that I enjoy such as cooking, interior design and exercise. It was incredible that a 20 minute test could
describe me better than friends of mine who have known me for 10 years! I particularly liked the logical next of your program to match my personality to various Job Descriptions. This brings enormous value to people like me and is unmatched by any other personality test I have
taken. I highly recommend this test to anyone who is not completely satisfied with their job or career."

Thank you for forwarding my results. I was really pleased with the assessment and the results. I have been a career development specialist for close to 20 years and the assessment is the most accurate and comprehensive I have received. I would like the oportunity before purchasing the assessments for use with my clients of having a consultation done on my own assessment with someone familiar with the tool to further guide me in using this tool. Is this an option?

Connie-Marie, Pro-Fit Coaching Center

I'm so pleased with the results I'm getting combining your MAPP tool with my coaching skills. Here is just one example of how this is working.
I had a client sent to me by a large non-profit. The non-profit would only pay for 2 hours of coaching. The situation was that one of their mental health practioners (64 year old lady) was being out placed due to government requirements of educational degrees.
As you can image, this lady was devastated. She could not retire as she needed to work at least another 5 years before she could financially retire. Put yourself in her shoes - - 64 years old and no college degree, looking for work.
The first hour I had with her, I used to reframe her self concept and get her to look at her resources from all the years of practical experience she had garnered working for the best services in the state. I sent her back to work to take the MAPP.
At our next meeting a week later, I went over the results with
her, solidified her identity and life's purpose
